A common misconception.. Do carbs make you fat??? HELL NO. Well the right kind doesn’t. We absolutely love carbs and believe they have their place in a balanced diet and ensuring you get the most out of your workouts.
After a heavy weights session we opt to eat meals high in carbs and low in fat.
This low fat, beet dip is sweet, nutty and will leave you feel nourished after your training sessions and best part is its SUPER easy to make!
1 small cloves of garlic
400g cannellini beans
2 small boiled beets (or one large)
¼ cup lemon juice
2 tbs apple cider vinegar
salt to taste
In a high speed blender, food processor or thermomix blitz garlic for 1-3 seconds on high
Add remaining ingredients and blend to desired consistency (we like to keep ours a bit chunky)
Enjoy! This will keep in the fridge for around 5 days.
